ACHIEVE LHA SILVER, GOLD OR PLATINUM LEVEL
Livable Housing Australia (LHA) is a not-for-profit organisation that was established in 2011 to create a partnership between community and consumer groups, government and industry to deliver safer homes that are easier to access for everybody.
Founded from the National Dialogue on Universal Housing Design, the LHA Guidelines were developed as a best practice standard.
Only LHA Design Guideline Assessors registered with LHA can assess a Design or an As-Built house as meeting the LHA Silver, Gold or Platinum Level.
To enrol dwellings as LHA compliant, the building must be assessed by an Accredited and Registered LHA Assessor, then deemed to comply with the LHA Design Guidelines. Housing is then certified to a Silver, Gold or Platinum Level under the guidelines.
